Our darling baby John Skelton was born into God`s hands on
29th of June 1995 after 23 wks pregnancy. It was the happiest day of our life`s when we found out we were going to have you.
Then the sadness began, the date was 29th of June and I woke up in the middle of the night with the most horrific pain in my stomach.
When I was taken to the hospital they told me that it was placenta previa(which meant that the placenta had detatched itself from the womb) things didn`t look good.
I was attatched to a monitor to detect the baby`s heart rate, there were doctors and nurses all around me. And then those words nobody ever wants to hear.
*I`M SORRY THERE IS NO HEART BEAT*
Our whole world sank, I could actually hear my heart snap in two. The next thing I remember was waking up, the baby had been delivered by Section.
John and I were put into the recovery room where the baby was brought to us. Our first born was the most precious baby Boy, perfect in every way. We decided to name him after his Dad, John.
Coming home from the hospital was really hard, I knew when I walked through the door I was going to have to deal with making arrangements for the funeral. Thankfully our family & friends were there to help out, and Baby John Skelton was laid to rest on 7th July.
When God took you he took a part of us with you.
We love you so much and always will.
